An apparatus has an aggregate (1) with a driving 92) and a driven (2a) part. The driving part is an electric motor, a gas-powered engine or a diesel engine and the driven part is a generator, a compressor or a heat pump. There is a bracket (3) for the aggregate on springs (4) to neutralise vibration against the frame (5). There are also several pipe unions (11 to 14), an electric lead (16) and a housing (6). The frame is a freely oscillating mass between the bracket and the housing with other springs (7) between it and the housing. The first springs are steel and are low frequency ones. The second ones are rubber and are high frequency ones.
