The information display (1) comprises a carrier part (10) which has a slit (17) for the removable insertion of a holder (20). The length and width of the slit are slightly larger than the those of the holder. The holder comprises a transparent cover sheet (21) which has pocket sections (24,25) at its opposite ends. The pocket sections hang either side of the holder. There is a pocket (30,31) on the inner side of the film which faces the carrier part in each pocket section. The pockets receive the information carrier part (40). The slit has a surface (18) for locating the holder and aligning it horizontally in the carrier part. The pockets are open or can be opened, upwards.
