The method and the device are used in packaging of liquids, in particular for thinning out the periphery of the sheeting material. By the method, a blank of a packaging (1-3) is formed by milling along the length of the peripheral zone consisting of a layer of absorption liquids (1), and at least two layers of impermeable liquids (2 & 3) over it, a catch (8), an indenture (6) inwards from the catch (8), a strip (9) inwards from indenture (6) and groove (7) inwards from strip (9). The peripheral zone is covered in such a way as to house the catch (8) in groove (7) and is air-tight sealed to the remaining part of the sheeting material, preferably solely by mechanical pressure. The invention also relates to a device for thinning out the zone of the peripheral edge of the sheeting material containing a fluids-absorbing layer (1) and a fluid-impermeable layer (3) over it. |
