摘要 <p>The present invention discloses how to damp sound in an air conditioning system, particularly a vehicle air conditioning system, a tubular sound damping body, is provided having apertures in its opposed ends through which a liquid or gaseous medium flows. A respective connection tube is adapted in at least and preferably in both apertures, with tube being of smaller transversal section than sound damping body and apertures inside sound damping body. An isolating device in the form of an isolating means is around each connection tube fitted portion and also couples sound damping body interior. An isolating device in the form of a isolating means around each connection tube fitted portion and also couples sound damping body interior. Rabbets receiving isolating means can be defined en fitted end portion of connection tube and sound damping body ends to receive isolating means. Isolating means are formed from an elastic, rubber like material. Alternatively, a separator can be placed around elastic isolating device and it couples isolating device in its interior and sound damping body in its exterior.</p>
