PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start communication as a person proximate to a party without stopping the work of the party by transmitting video information, which is acquired from plural communication terminals including the communication terminal of the designated communicating party, to the communication terminal on the call originating side before the start of communication. SOLUTION: Any member (staff) of a desired group to be communicated or any group (section) is designated and any desired event is selected out of six kinds of events of 'watch', 'approach', 'talk', 'wait', 'return' and 'end'. When it is desired to observe the state of the party, for example, a caller designates that staff of the party and selects the event of 'watch'. Then, the address of a video server at the section, to which the staff of the party belongs, is requested, video information is requested to that video server and the video information is received. Next, the received video information is displayed on a screen on the side of the caller, the address of the current video server is stored and the information is returned. As a result, the state of the designated party can be easily confirmed. |
