Foamed glass granules with high chemical resistance

The foamed silicate moulding with high chemical resistance consists of a glass based on the Na2O.ZrO2.TiO2.SiO2 system which has been expanded at between its transition temperature and its working temperature using (by wt. of glass) 0.5-5.0 wt.% of a blowing agent or a blowing agent mixture. Preferably, finely dispersed pure calcium carbonate is used as the blowing agent or as a component of the blowing agent mixture.
