PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a male screw having a locking function capable of increasing not only pullout torque but also return torque. SOLUTION: Recessed lines 4 in a shape removing top parts and side surfaces of thread ridges and thread grooves in a band shape in the bolt longitudinal direction are provided along a plural number of the thread ridges 2. Anglesα,βof a corner edge part of a normal screw surface 2a and the recessed lines 4 at the side surfaces of the thread ridge 2 are 90 deg.<α<β<180 deg.. A sealant consisting of synthetic resin or rubber is filled in the recessed lines 4. Parts of the recessed lines 4 are in the same shape as a part of the normal screw surface 2a by filling this sealant.
