PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical system which can transmit the information with no use of an on-line method by using jointly a one-dimensional or two-dimensional bar code with a slip. SOLUTION: The request processing is carried out by a requester 2 such as a doctor, etc., via a computer terminal 1, and the request contents are printed by a printer 3. In such a system, the doctor first reads the consultation card of a patient via a reader 6 and inputs the necessary attributes such as the name, sex, patient number, etc., based on the information on the card and with no manual input. Then the doctor inputs the necessary request items via an input means such as a keyboard, etc., in the midst of or after consultation of the patient. When this input is over, a request slip is printed. At the same time, the characters that can be read by the naked eyes are printed on the request slip together with the contents of the same meaning as those characters which are turned into a one-dimensional or two-dimensional bar code. A management number is also printed on the request slip with no external help of a host computer, etc., required. |
