<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain efficient storage and transmission by generating both individual and predetermined inter-frame coded video data and in-frame coded video data and storing them to a memory under the control of a controller. SOLUTION: An encoder K1 encodes video data according to the inter-frame method to use correlation between video films consecutive timewise. The encoder K1 is controlled by a controller CTRL and receives video data from a satellite broadcast program and encodes the data by the inter-frame method and the coded data are given to the controller. An encoder K2 encodes video data by the in-frame memory. The in-frame method uses correlation of one-frame video data. In this case, the compression of bit speed to be attained is smaller by the in-frame memory than the inter-frame method. The encoder K2 encodes individual prescribed video image data under the control of the controller CTRL and stores the coded data to a memory MEMO.</p> |
