摘要

Taxane derivatives modified at 6 - 7 positions of the taxane derivative skeleton (taxol numbering) of formula Ia: wherein R1 represents OR or R wherein R is C1-C5 alkyl, C2-C5 alkenyl or C6-C10 aryl and R2 represents H or CH3CO, are endowed with antitumor activity. The compounds of formula Ia and their epimers at 2'position are prepared from a compound of formula II wherein R3 is a leaving group and R4 is a hydroxy protecting group. Compounds of formula II are novel when R3 is CH3SO2O or CF3SO2O in the alpha-configuration and also have antitumour activity.
