PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back lash suppressing device in a fine adjusting device for highly precise finishing for boring. SOLUTION: This device has hollow bodies 101, 102, a rotatable slight movement screw 105, a tool holding member 10, and tool holders 11, 11a. Further, it has moving means 20, 23, 24 for linearly moving the tool holding member 10 by the rotation of the slight movement screw 105, and a back lash suppressing means provided in order to prevent the back lash between first and second relative moving parts 20, 23; 20, 24 related to the moving means 20, 23, 24. The back lash suppressing means is formed of a rotatable substantially cylindrical bush having inside and outside screws, an inside screw engaged with the second inside rod 24, and an outside screw engaged with the first outside rod 23, and the inside and outside screws have different pitches. |
