Hip joint for reciprocal orthosis for lower extremities

The hip joint comprises a sitting joint (19) which is locked during walking by a locking piece which has two locking elements (29,30) connected during movement. This enables the sitting or walking (20) joint, which have corresponding locking cavities (23), to be alternately locked. Operating elements (25) are alternately brought into a position of readiness near the locking cavities, while the locked sitting or walking joint remains locked. When the free joint reaches a pre-set position, the locking element can fit into the locking cavity, and then the joint is locked so that either the sitting or the walking joint is locked.
