FIELD: medical equipment; applicable in determination of concentration of hydrogen ions (pH) of biological media. SUBSTANCE: pH probe has measuring antimonic electrodes in form of rings rigidly attached to thin-walled bushing, air-tight hose pulled on bushing, silver- chloride reference electrode located in nonmetallic housing with electrolyte switch and conductors connecting electrodes with plug connector. pH probe is made with autonomous body of silver-chloride electrode additionally having removable cup-shaped attachment whose bottom has hole through which capillary- porous wick passes. Wick part is located inside the attachment and impregnated with conducting paste and comes in contact with electrolyte switch of silver-chloride electrode through layer of paste. The other part of wick is located beyond the attachment. Working end of hose is sealed by means of terminal antimonic electrode made in form of cylinder and rigidly attached in hole to hose end. Working end of hose may be sealed by means of attachment of nonmetallic nose to bushing of terminal antimonic electrode. EFFECT: provision of calibration of pH probe in buffer solutions, its testing for reliability in liquid media and increased reliability of operation of pH probe in prolonged measurement of pH of liquid media, particular, in multiple operating conditions. |
