PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit which can perform the mutual switching between several power supply paths without instantaneous break. SOLUTION: This device has a first power supply path 10, which supplies load 8 with power through an AC switch 4 from a commercial power source 1, and a second power path 20 which converts the DC power from a DC power source 2 with an inverter 3 and supplies it to the said load 8. A first semiconductor switch 6 is provided between the contacts of the AC switch 4 on the side of the first power supply path 10, and also a second semiconductor switch 7 is provided between the contacts of the AC switch 4 on the side of the second power supply path 20, and for the mutual switching between several current paths, each AC switch is turned off after turning on each semiconductor switch. |
