PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an inexpensive sheet for forming a relief image, easy to process and capable of obtaining a thermal transfer image of high quality. SOLUTION: A thermal expansion layer 62 is formed on a first base material to form an intermediate sheet and, succeedingly, selfadhesive layers 52, 54 having pressure-sensitive adhesiveness are formed on both surfaces of a second base material 51 and release paper 53 having release layers on both surfaces thereof is provided on the rear surface of one self-adhesive layer 52 to form a bothside self-adhesive sheet. The thermal expansion layer 62 of the intermediate sheet and the self-adhesive layer 54 of the double-side self-adhesive sheet are opposedly bonded under pressure to obtain a laminate. After the intermediate sheet and the both-side selfadhesive sheet are closely bonded by pressing the laminate, the first base material is removed to expose the thermal expansion layer 62 to finally obtain a sheet for forming a relief image. |
