PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk having a translucent reflection film which is adequate in reflectivity and efficiency. SOLUTION: This disk consists of a disk substrate 2 which has a first recording surface 4, the translucent reflection film 5 which is formed on the first recording surface 4, an intermediate layer 6 which has a second recording surface 8 and is formed on the translucent reflection film 5, a reflection film 9 which is formed on the second recording surface and a protective film 10 which is formed on the reflection film. In such case, the translucent reflection film 5 is composed of ZnS-SiOx (x is smaller than 2). As a result, the reflectivity of the translucent reflection film 5 is set within a range of 20 to 40% and the efficiency thereof is set sufficiently high. |
