PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the laser module which is low in cost, small in size and effectively reproduces and records the information recorded on various optical disks having plural standards. SOLUTION: Semiconductor laser diodes(LDs) 1 and 2 which are correspondingly provided to optical recording medium surfaces having different laser beam wavelengths to conduct data recording and reproducing and hologram elements 10 which respectively guide the laser beams emitted from the LDs 1 and 2 to an optical recording medium surface are integrated together to form a laser module. By using the laser module above, recording and reproducing of a high density CD, a conventional CD medium and a rewritable CD-R, recording and reproducing of a phase transition type optical disk and recording and reproducing of plural optical disk media are accommodated. |
