<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prohibit the winding of magnetic tape when dew condensation occurs on the drum surface of a tape-guide drum device in a recording/ reproducing device having plural recording/reproducing decks provided with a tape drive system containing the tape-guide drum device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with first, second recording/reproducing decks 1, 2 provided with the tape drive systems 10, 12 respectively containing the tape-guide drum device and a control means controlling the tape drive system and a condensation sensor 5 for detecting dew condasation on the drum face arranged in the vicinity of the tape-guide drum device of only the first recording/reproducing deck 1. When the fact that the dew condensation exists on a drum surface, is detected by the condensation sensor 5, respective tape drive system 10, 12 are controlled by respective control means 6, 8 of the first, second recording/reproducing decks 1, 2 so as to prohibit the winding of the magnetic tape for respective tape-guide drum device of the first, second recording/reproducing decks 1, 2.</p> |
