PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the degree of freedom of the arrangement between a PDP and a video processing circuit and to reduce the number of signal lines required for an interface in the interface between the PDP and the video processing circuit. SOLUTION: At the output side of a video processing circuit 10, a first and a second frame memories 14, 16 and a first controller for a transmission timing adjustment, a parallel-series converter 20 and light emitting elements 22, 26, 28 are provided and at the input side of a PDP 12, light receiving elements 34, 38, 40, a series-parallel converter 36, a third and a fourth frame memories 42, 44 and a second controller 46 for a transmission timing adjustment are provided and the light emitting elements 22, 26, 28 and the light receiving elements 34, 38, 40 are connected with optical fiber cables 24, 30, 32. Thus, signals are serially transmitted with the optical fiber cables 24, 30, 32 having no impedance and signal lines required for the interface are reduced. |
