FIELD: electric communications; laying communication cables in difficult, such as Arctic and Antarctic, regions. SUBSTANCE: cable is laid by means of transport and towed vehicles the former being submarine and the latter, tender that has cable compartment with automatic cable lowering and laying system, personnel compartment where cables are spliced and checked, and automatic-control device for keeping tender at desired distance from sea bottom by filling cable compartment with water as cable is paid down; cable is laid without submarine surfacing. EFFECT: eliminated effect of environmental conditions, such as ice, swell of sea; provision for cable laying in any regions of the Globe. |
