PURPOSE: A free fall impact testing device is provided to accurately measure impact value caused by self-weight of a falling body or a specimen when the specimen falls down on the floor. CONSTITUTION: A free fall impact testing device(50) comprises a housing(H), a guide rod(G), a fixing unit(10), a falling unit(20), and a falling body or a specimen. Multiple frames(F) are coupled each other in a box shape to form the housing, thereby forming a empty space inside. The upper and lower parts of the housing are covered with top and bottom plates(P1,P2). The guide rod is arranged inside the frame, and fixed and coupled to the top and bottom plates. The fixing unit is connected to the guide rod. The falling unit is coupled to the fixing unit and the guide rod, forming inside the frame, and includes an insertion hole inside. The falling body or the specimen is coupled to the insertion hole of the falling unit and forms a coupling plate on the top. |
