PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive color image forming material capable of stably forming a dye image by executing development or utilizing difference in adhesion property when an image is transferred without executing the development and to provide a multicolored image forming method. SOLUTION: This photosensitive color image forming material is controlled in such a manner that the average absorbance Dp of the structural material other than the photosensitive material included in the photosensitive color image forming layer in the wavelength range from (λp-30) to (λp+30)nm, whereinλp is the wavelength for the max. absorbance of the photosensitive material, and the average absorbance Dvis of the structural material in the wavelength range from 400 to 760nm satisfy Dp/Dvis<=1.2, and that the max. absorbance Dvis(MAX) and the min. absorvance Dvis(MIN) of the structural material except for the photosensitive material in 400-760nm wavelength range satisfy Dvis(MAX)/Dvis(MIN)<=10. A multicolored image is formed by using the obtd. image forming material and transferring an image.
