摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of upward shock caused by the excessive fastening force of friction fastening elements during up-shift operations. SOLUTION: Target fastening force for friction fastening elements such as a brake, a clutch and the like in a multistep shifting gear mechanism is set and stored as specified characteristic lines. Two kinds of a basic characteristic line X1 setting an optimum value and a delay correction characteristic line Y2 are set as characteristic lines in a loading condition while the throttle opening is made as parameters. Both the characteristic lines X1 and Y2 slope upward respectively as the throttle opening is increased, an increasing rate of fastening force is set smaller in the characteristic line Y2 as compared with that set in the characteristic line X1. When the throttle opening is increased during up-shift operations, target fastening force is shifted to a correction set condition based on the characteristic line Y2 from a base set condition based on the characteristic line X1 at the pointγwhen each target engaging force based on the characteristic lines X1 and Y2 becomes identical.
