PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold the inlet temperature of a fuel cell within a proper range without using a large-sized heat exchanger by directly mixing a low temperature pressurized air supplied to the cathode side of the cell with a high temperature combustion exhaust gas to reduce the inlet temperature of a low temperature blower. SOLUTION: A low temperature pressurized air 6 is directly mixed with a high temperature combustion gas 5 by a gas mixer 20, and the resulting temperature-reduced mixed gas is pressurized by a low temperature lower 21 and supplied to the cathode side 3 of a fuel cell 11 by a circulating line 22. The flow rate of the low temperature blower 21 is set larger than the sum of the flow rates of a turbine compressor 12 and an air blower 17d, so that the combustion exhaust gas 5 from a reformer 10 can be smoothly supplied by the suction of the low temperature blower 21. The inlet temperature of the lower temperature blower 21 can be reduced by the direct mixing by the gas mixer 20 without using a large-sized heat exchanger, and the cell inlet temperature can be kept within a proper range. |
