PROPELLER SHAFT WITH PROFILE DEVICE FOR AXIAL TELESCOPING

The propeller shaft is used in the automotive industry. It has lightweight structure and increased critical revolutions frequency. The shaft consists of a profile tube (2) of composite material, having driven in, glued and pinned by pins (3): profile neck of the internal yoke (1) in one of its ends, and profile steel bushing at the other end, in the profile hole of which bushing (4) the profile bearing linings and the profile neck of the second yoke (8) are coaxially mounted. The profiles of the cross sections of tube (1), the necks of yokes (1 & 8) and bushings (4, 6 & 7) are equidistant having curvilinear, rectangular or triangular form securing the axial telescoping.
