The game of chess is applied for logical competitions between two teams of two players each and simultaheously it also offers chances for games between two persons. The game has a rectangular or circular chessboard having 64 light and 64 dark squares arranged in a checkered manner forming eight horizontal strips circularly closed in concentric strips in the circular board, and sixteen vertical strips radially arranged in the circular board. Two Kings, two Queens, four bishops, knights and rooks each of the two players of one of the teams are arranged on the first horizontal strip, and on the eigth horizontal strips are the same chessmen of the two players of the opposite team. Their respective pawns are fitted on the second and the seveth horizontal strip, respectively. Each set of eight pieces and eight pawns is of different colour. The pieces and the pawns of each player can be arranged in a set of eight or be displaced in smaller groups including on an every other square basis. In one alternative, in order to attack only one King, one of the Kings of each team can be replaced by a piece called a Prince moving in the same manner as the Queen but limited only to three adjacent squares. When only two opponents are playing on the same chessboards, whole groups of eight each or are placed in smaller groups of pieces and the pawns of the two competitors are arraned.
