PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain cordless picture communication without needing an additional circuit of a large scale by transmitting and receiving a coded picture, data on sound or data obtained by multiplexing them through the use of the radio wave of a band the radio law permits or optical communication technique. SOLUTION: A slave set 1 consists of a radio communication part, or an optical communication part, transmitting and receiving data to a master set 2, an input part of video and voice and a multiplexing and separating part of video and voice. The master set 2 consists of a radio communication part, or an optical communication part, transmitting and receiving data to the slave set 1 and a network interface part. Thereby the picture communication equipment is used without regard to its installing place and the picture communication of a quality originally provided for a public telephone line without making the scale of the equipment main body large. |
