Disclosed is a pickup device, using micro PBS block united photo diode, for optical magnetic disk, and it's characteristic is as follows. The laser diode (1) that oscillates a beam (P wave and S wave) that polarize as a oval at the rate of 150:1. The diffraction device that diffracts the beam, being outputted from the laser diode (1), to three beam. The PBS block (101) that reflects and transmits the P wave at the rate of 50:50, and reflects S wave over 95%. The condensing lens (102) that transfers the beam supplied from the PBS block (101) to a parallel beam. The reflecting mirror (5) is that reflects the supplied beam. The objective lens (6) is that condenses the beam, being supplied through the reflecting mirror (5), at the disk (7). The disk (7) has a saved information. The micro PBS block that detects a focus error signal, a tracking servo signal, and a RF signal by transmitting the P wave and reflecting the S wave. |
