PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain Alternaria sp.JTIJ-445 strain exhibiting pathogenicity against a plant belonging to genus Aeschynomene, capable of selectively killing down or suppressing growth and controlling Aeschynomene indica L., without affecting to Oryza sativa, etc., and without polluting or destructing the environment. SOLUTION: This microorganism is an aerobic bacterium as Alternaria sp.JTIJ-445 strain having a deposit number of FERM BP-5177, belonging to genus Alternaria and exhibits pathogenicity against a plant belonging to genus Aeschynomene. A control agent against a plant belonging to genus Aeschynomene is obtained by using the microorganism. Preferably, a plant belonging to genus Aeschynomene is controlled by using a herbicide containing the microorganism. |
