<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent following revolution of fixed side races by preventing torque of a shaft from being easily transmitted to the fixed side race. SOLUTION: Load in the axial direction of a shaft of a swash plate 2 is supported by thrust bearings 13, 14 positioned between the swash plate 2 and a cylinder block 6, and annular end surfaces on the radial inner sides of cylinder block side races 15, 16 as fixed side races for constituting parts of the thrust bearings 13, 14 are formed into taper surfaces 25. In the operation of a compressor, when cylinder block side races 15, 16 are brought in contact with a shaft 1 with the sliding operation of the swash plate 2 in the piston reciprocating motion, torque to act on the cylinder block side races 15, 16 is decreased by the contact since the contact is basically a part of the linear contact, and therefore, following revolution of the cylinder block side races 15, 16 can be prevented.</p> |
