<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively resolve the congestion of a service control node without the call loss in an electronic exchange due to congestion control in the case than the service control node is congested by a specific number in an intelligent network(IN). SOLUTION: In the IN consisting of an electronic exchange 1, a communication link 3, and a service control node 2, the service control node 2 detects congestion to report the congestion information to the electronic exchange 1 through the communication link 3. This congestion information has the number of a congestion cause, routing information, and the control duration as main parameters. The electronic exchange 1 receives congestion information and records it in a congestion information register memory 14 of the electronic exchange 1. Each time when a call to the service control node 2 occurs, the electronic exchange 1 refers to the congestion information register memory 14 to check whether the call is the control object or not; and if it is a control object, the call is alternatively connected to a designated terminating destination. When the designated control duration elapses, congestion information is deleted from the congestion information register memory 14, and the control is released.</p> |
