摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of a battery charger for information processor and reduce the size of the charger by providing a means which cuts off a secondary battery in an information processor from a circuit which is supplied with electric power from the battery at the time of connecting the battery to a connector in the connector. SOLUTION: When a charger cable connector 9 is inserted into a connector 11 at the time of charging a secondary battery 7, the external side 11a of the connector 11 slides and connecting plates 6a and 6c are respectively disconnected from connecting plates 6c and 6d and the battery 7 is electrically isolated from a logic circuit 8. When the connector 9 is further inserted, electrodes 10a and 10b are connected to connector electrodes 12a and 12b and the battery 7 is only connected to a battery charger 5. The electrically insulating distances between the connecting plates 6a and 6c and connecting plates 6b and 6c are secured by adjusting the length of the connector 9. Therefore, the constitution of an information processor can be simplified and the size of the processor can be reduced, because the safe insulation can be secured between the battery 7 and logic circuit 8 at the time of charging the battery 7 and, at the same time, the battery charger 5 can be simplified.</p>
