PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain multiple oxide particles which have recesses on their surfaces, good fluidity and packability, and a high anchor effect when compounded with resin, by spraying into a spray dryer a multiple alkoxide that contatns silicon and other metal component(s). SOLUTION: The objective multiple oxide particles that have surface recesses and particle size of 5-100μm and contain silicon and other metal component(s) are obtained by making beforehand a silicon alkoxide react with 50mol% or less quantity of an alkoxide of a group IV metal to form a multiple alkoxide, and spraying the multiple alkoxide and/or its hydrolyzate into a spray dryer having an inlet temperature of 100-200 deg.C.
