PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good contrast by suppressing the deviations in the angles between the transmission axes of polarizing plates and the stretching axes of phase plates with good accuracy by parallel setting the transmission axes and the orientation axes. SOLUTION: An integrated film formed by integrating the phase plate 14 and the polarizing plate 15 is produced and an integrated film formed by integrating the phase plate 24 and the polarizing plate 25 is produced. At the time of this production, the phase plate 14 and the polarizing plate 15 are integrated to each other in such a manner that the stretching axis 14a of the phase plate 14 and the transmission axis 15a of the polarizing plate 15 are paralleled with each other. The phase plate 24 and the polarizing plate 25 are integrated to each other in such a manner that the phase plate 14 and the polarizing plate 15 are integrated to each other and that the stretching axis 24a of the phase plate 24 and the transmission axis 25a of the polarizing plate 25 are paralleled with each other. The stretching axis 14a of the phase plate 14 and the stretching axis 24a of the phase plate 24 are determined by the stretching directions of both phase plates 14, 24. Then, the deviation in the angles between the transmission axes 15a, 25a and the stretching axes 14a, 24a are suppressed with the good accuracy as compared with the case the transmission axes 15a, 25a and the stretching axes 14a, 24a are intersected orthogonally with each other. |
