<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic equipment with which the winding space is wide without increasing the size of the whole body and freedom of the distribution of winding is improved. SOLUTION: A discharge lamp ballast (an electromagnetic equipment) comprises the combination of a primary coil 25, a secondary coil 26, coil bobbins 23 and 24 on which coils 25 and 26 are wound, a pair of pass cores 29 that are arranged between the coils 25 and 26, and a first magnetic core and a second magnetic core 27 and 28. The magnetic cores 27 and 28 comprise E cores with central legs 27c and 28c and side legs of a pair of 27b and 28b and by connecting a first recessed part 27d that is between the central leg 27c and the side leg 27b of the first magnetic core 27 to a second recessed part 28d that is between the central leg 28c and the side leg 28b of the second magnetic core 28, a magnetic core window hole 37 is formed, and the bobbin 23 and 24 with said coils and the pass cores 29 are arranged by fitting in the magnetic core window hole 37.</p> |
