PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical recording medium securing the uniformity of intrasurface and attaining the cost reduction of a drive by distributing the distribution of on-track ratio in the intrasurface of a substrate and the distributions of intrasurface reflectance of a 1st protective layer/a recording layer/a 2nd protective layer/a reflection heat radiating layer respectively to equal to or below a specific value. SOLUTION: The main layer structure of the optical recording medium is the substrate/the 1st protective layer/the recording layer/the 2nd protective layer/the reflection heat radiating layer, the distribution of the on-track ratio in the substrate surface is distributed to ±<=5% and the distribution of intrasurface reflection of the substrate/the 1st protective layer/the recording layer/the 2nd protective layer/the reflection heat radiating layer is distributed to ±<=4%. As a result, the optical recording medium excellent in C/N, erasion ratio, sensitivity, jitter, preservation reliability, reliable repeatability and intrasurface uniformity and attaining the cost down of the drive is obtained. |
