A first component part (2) and a second component part (4) are positioned together and placed on a support structure (6). With the aid of a centering and fixture device (8), the two parts can be exactly aligned, and fixed, with one another on the support structure. A holding down device (10), or screw, extends along their common longitudinal axis (LA) through a conical positive engagement component (12). Thereby tensioning the positive engagement component against the component parts. This joins the two components parts together and against the support structure. The cone (12) can thus transmit both cross and axial forces. The cross forces service to align the component parts and to overcome the friction forces applicable between their abutting surfaces.
