INSPECTING METHOD FOR LEAK IN MEMBRANE SEPARATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for rapidly and accurately inspecting the presence of a leak defect of an ultrafiltration membrane or a reverse osmosis membrane module incorporated into a membrane separator for treating liquid without stopping primary separation concentration operation and without toxicity even after leak inspection. SOLUTION: Inspection is performed by mixing a solution containingβ-glucan or peptide glycan into supply liquid of a membrane separator and measuring the concentration ofβ-glucan or peptide glycan contained in permeation liquid of the membrane separator.
