摘要

A method separates metal-containing plastic mixtures and -composites by size reduction, magnetic separation, screening, air classification and separation of non-ferrous metals and plastic. The original process separates coarse metal and then comminutes, followed by fluidised bed screening and classification to separate a light metal free, heavy metal fraction, a light material fraction, a wire particle fraction and a plastic-containing mixed fraction. Also claimed is a plant to carry out the process described. This comprises the following sequence: cutter granulator (1), dust separator (3) fan, conveyor(s) and fluidised bed classifier (5), to achieve the separations.
