发明名称 ALUMINA SINTERED MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION
摘要 PURPOSE: To attain high strength and high toughness in a temperature range from a room temperature to 1,200 deg.C by synergistic effects of dispersion strengthening effect and increase in strength and toughness by shape anisotropy particles. CONSTITUTION: Alumina powder is mixed with first metal oxide powder having different solid solution limit amounts to alumina and βtype alumina by difference in atmosphere and second metal oxide powder capable of forming β type alumina by reaction with alumina and is molded. The solid solution-precipitation of the first metal oxide is carried out to give a complex sintered compact comprising an alumina crystal phase and a β type alumina crystal phase. Metal oxide crystal particles 3 different from the crystal phases 1 and the β-type alumina crystal phase 2 are dispersed into the particles of both the crystal phases to give the objective alumina sintered compact.
