PURPOSE: To provide wall embedded type air conditioning equipment which enables expanding of working space for the connection of piping without enlarging the equipment to further facilitate piping work meeting the requirement of compact designing. CONSTITUTION: In a wall-embedded type air conditioning equipment which has a piping connection part with an auxiliary piping 12 and a communication piping connected on a top board 3a of a casing of a room unit, a notch part 26 is provided on the top board 3a before the upper end of a heat exchanger 6 and the front of the heat exchanger 6 is made to communicate with an upper part of the top board 3a. The communicating space is utilized as working space for connecting piping. A lid part 14a for closing the notch part 26 is provided integral with a piping cover 14. |
