PURPOSE: To provide a battery housing device for a vehicle which can prevent a damage of a connecting mechanism even when an inner box is dropped in the connecting and disconnecting work of the inner box. CONSTITUTION: An outer box 21 having an insert opening 21f facing almost upwardis fixed to a vehicle side, while an inner housing a battery is housed inside the outer box 21 in order to house along the full length, and allowable to put in and out through the insert opening 21f, and a connecting mechanism 41 to connect the battery side and the vehicle side electrically when the inner box 22 is housed in the outer box 21 is provided between the inner box 22 and the outer box 21. And a lid to energize the inner box 22 in the connecting direction when the lid is closed is provided, and a shock absorber mechanism 50 to absorb the load when the inner box 22 is inserted is provided between the inner box 22 and the outer box 21. |
