PURPOSE: To suppress a rush current at application of power to a telephone exchange system. CONSTITUTION: In the configuration feeding power from a system main body 1 to a terminal equipment 3 via a terminal interface 102, at application of power, a feeding start command signal is sent sequentially from a common control section 104 to each of terminal interfaces 102-1-102-n via control lines L31-L3n, and each of the terminal interfaces 102-1-102-n receives the signal to connect a feeder L4 from a power supply section 105 to each of terminal equipments 3-1-3-n sequentially. Thus, since a rush current is timewise divided and flows little by little, a large amount of the rush current is not supplied simultaneously. Thus, it is not required to design a capacity taking a large amount of rush current into account and the miniaturized power supply is attained with economy. |
