PURPOSE:To obtain a high-performance anisotropic magnet by executing a plastic working operation which exerts a tensile strain in a direction perpendicular to a plane at an outer peripheral part or an inner peripheral part of the anisotropic magnet which has a predominance axis of magnetization in a direction parallel to an arbitrary plane. CONSTITUTION:A plastic working operation which exerts a tensile strain in a direction perpendicular to a plane is executed at an outer peripheral part or an inner peripheral part of an anisotropic magnet which has been obtained by using an alloy composed mainly of Fe, Nd or Pr and B and which has a predominance axis of magnetization in a direction parallel to an arbitrary plane. For example, the plastic working operation of a cylindrical alloy magnet 1 is executed only at the outer peripheral part of the cylindrical magnet by using a metal mold composed of a die 2, an upper punch 3 and a lower punch 4. By this setup, the high-performance anisotropic magnet for multipolar magnetization use can be obtained. |
