PURPOSE: To provide a resin insert for an automotive mirror bracket, which can correspond to even the installation of a large, heavy door mirror when mounted on an automobile and which can be expected to enhance durability. CONSTITUTION: This resin insert for an automotive mirror bracket comprises a bracket main body part 13 and a mounting leg part 15 which are molded integrally from a structural synthetic resin. A channeled part 17 is provided along the bracket main body part 13 and the mounting leg part 15 and is covered with a macromolecular elastic material M to serve as a glass run part. Alternatively, a separate glass run is assembled. A correcting sheet-metal insert 29 is buried in the bottom of the channeled part 17 in such a manner as to be stretched at least across the mirror bracket main body part 13 and the mounting leg part 15. |
