PURPOSE: To make it possible to surely support an intraocular lens and to easily mount a suture to the loop of the intraocular lens. CONSTITUTION: This supporting base 1 for the intraocular lens is used to mount the suture to the loop 3 extending from the peripheral part L1 of the intraocular lens L. The supporting base consists of a supporting part 2 on which the intraocular lens L is placed and which supports the peripheral part L1 of the intraocular lens L in order to regulate the movement in at least one of the directions perpendicular to the optical axis C of the intraocular lens L and a detaining part which is formed with an opening in the position corresponding to the loop 3 and regulates the movement of the intraocular lens L in the optical axis C direction from above the supporting part 2. |
