The child's seat on the bicycle is fixed to a frame (10) on the bicycle. The base of the seat has a projecting block (24) that slots into an aperture (12) in the frame. With the seat fitted on the frame, an aperture (25) in the block aligns with a channel (14) in the rear of the frame. A locking pin (30) is pushed into the frame channel and through the block aperture. Locking elements (31) on the pin hold it fixed to the block. Pref. the seat backrest can pivot w.r.t. the seat base.
