<p>PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of a recording and reproducing device and to simplify the structure by controlling a cassette holder to a desired position to a chassis in the elevating direction even through the over-stroke exists in a holding means of the cassette holder. CONSTITUTION: A lock mechanism of the cassette holder 4 is constituted of a lock arm 8 rotatably provided on the side surface of a main chassis 1 and a spring for pressing the lock arm 8 in a specified direction. The rotation of the lock arm 8 in the pressing direction is controlled by abutting a notched end surface of the main chassis 1 on an outside end surface of the lock arm 8. On the other hand, a lock pin 6 for locking the cassette holder 4 is provided on the side surface of the cassette holder 4 so as to project on a lock plate. Hook parts 13c, 13d are successively provided on both sides of a sub-chassis 13 corresponding to hold pins 27, 28. Also, the mechanism is provided with straight shape parts 13c", 13d" continuously formed with tapered shape parts 13c', 13d' formed on the side of a rotary cylinder 18. By this structure, the high reliability of the device is attained.</p> |
