PURPOSE: To make possible that a test sound is generated at different pitches placing to a wide register ranging from a low tone to a high tone or the test sound is generated at different touch strength ranging from a weak touch to a strong touch whenever a test sound generating operation key is operated. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a test sound generation instruction operation key 14b for instructing the generation of a musical sound as a test sound and a test sound generation control means controlling a musical sound generation means based on the operation of the test sound generation instruction operation key 14b, and the test sound generation control means controls the musical sound generation means so as to generate the test sounds with different pitches by various pitches such as a low pitch, an intermediate pitch or a high pitch, etc., and to generate the test sounds with different touch strength at a key pressing time by various key pressing speeds such as a late key pressing speed, an intermediate speed key pressing speed or a fast key pressing speed, etc. |
