FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves contact of alcohol and mixtures of hydrocarbons containing tertiary olefins with acid heterogeneous catalyst at increased temperature in reaction-fractionating apparatus. The latter has one or some reaction zones with catalyst and, at least, exhausting rectifying zone that is possibly is placed in direct-flow reactor. Initial substances or/and reaction mixture is fed from direct-flow reactor to above layer of catalyst layer in apparatus and/or in cross-section of catalyst layer, not below. Mixture is removed from bottom that contains mainly ethers and hydrocarbons at amount at least 90% of total initial mixture of hydrocarbons and alcohols and vapor flow is removed from the upper apparatus. Flow is condensed and partially or totally recovered in upper part of apparatus. Condensate can be fed at amount 10-50% in exhausting rectifying zone, preferably on 5-25 plates, below of catalyst layer. It is possible to feed 50% condensate in direct-flow reactor. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. |
